Body Without Mystique is a masterpiece! I was hooked from the very beginning. Dr. Helen Hu clearly and simply explains the tenets of Traditional Chinese Medicine and ties in applications for modern life. Her concern for the health of people jumps off the page and grabs you. She also covers the ranges of “Middle age” and the “Elderly” in a way where those groups can easily understand and begin to live a more full and healthy life. Its packed full of information and instruction.

I found Dr. Helen Hu’s book not only extremely practical and useful, but also very interesting. It’s helpful to anyone interested in learning more about Chinese medicine, as well as just learning more about their own body, its systems and its natural rhythms. I consider myself a beginner in Chinese Medicine and I felt like this was easy to understand and I’ve continued to use it as a reference when questions have come up.
