Dr. Helen Hu began the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) when she was a middle school student. She later studied Western Medicine at Hebei Medical School. Combining the two disciplines, she advanced her knowledge of health and medical procedures. She practiced Western medicine for nine years in China while becoming Chairman of the Department of Cardiology. She immigrated to the United States in 1991, where she formally studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and graduated with a doctorate degree.
